“Expect quietude, spaciousness, lots of light. Expect comfort and coziness, room to play, rest, nurture, nourish. All cooking essentials, beautiful bedrooms, great areas to relax in and out doors. “Truly a paradise! By far, the best Airbnb we've stayed in so far. Joshua and Amanda's home is not only beautifully designed and super comfortable but it has a marvelous outdoor space that's filled with bird life. The kitchen is very well-appointed and had everything we needed, and the beds uber-comfortable. My son and husband also appreciated the sound system and crate of vintage vinyl. In the warmer months, guests will undoubtedly spend most of their time outside—we did, despite the chilly spring temps. (We didn't use the fire pit, but I can see that being an extra draw in the fall.) What made this property truly outstanding was how lovely the hosts were—very patient (we mistakenly arrived early and they were really gracious about it), full of useful suggestions, and kind and hospitable. “Little Compton Modern is absolutely beautiful. The house has been thoughtfully renovated and is exactly as pictured. We enjoyed a month stay and it truly felt like home. The space is bright and welcoming and we loved the views and relaxation of being in the country (the deer in the yard are amazing!). The house is beautifully located, private but close to Little Compton, Tiverton and so many charming RI beaches. “Whether the sun is out or not, this place shines. It is warm and bright inside, and this beautiful home is surrounded by quietude and nature; evergreens, birds, deer! The kitchen so-well-stocked made cooking extra fun during the cold temps outside. Additionally, the tv room offers a cozy corner for movies. When we weren't at the house, we visited nearby beaches and cafes -- all within ten to twelve minutes. Joshua and Amanda are stellar hosts; a mere note away if anything is needed. “5 stars simply isn't enough! Joshua and Amanda have managed to create the most perfect Airbnb. Every detail was considered to make this home an absolute treasure. I cannot believe how fortunate we were to have found such a gem and are already planning our next vacation around its availability! After a not-too-bad drive from TF Green airport, you wander through the green and lush towns of Tiverton and Little Compton which are scattered with farm stands, artisanal shops and the BEST local seafood and ice cream spots. The house stands freshly painted and comfortably shaded amongst its plantings, with a solo stove fire pit, tree swing and outdoor space inviting you in. You walk in and instantly you feel at home. The air was cool (in the middle of a heat wave!) the light was perfect, and the colors, textures and shapes formed a trifecta of beauty and comfort. Designer furniture and tastefully curated vintage finds appointed a perfectly renovated layout. My eye first went to the vintage Marantz receiver and Technics turntable, and I browsed their stack of records. Joshua and Amanda also created a Spotify playlist to accompany your stay, as well as a tasteful list of recommended things to see and do during your stay. We meandered around the house, admiring the artwork and the collection of vintage modern furniture. We felt trusted amongst their fine things; which is not usually a feeling I get at an Airbnb. They put out the best for their guests to enjoy and it made us feel at home and pampered at the same time. We've formed some lasting memories here and cannot sing enough praises for Little Compton Modern and Joshua and Amanda. After not traveling or having a vacation in nearly 3 years after a pandemic, we felt rewarded by staying in a place like this.
